Matwork Pilates

I believe Pilates is a great exercise for all ages and abilities whether recovering from injury or looking to get fitter and stronger. Through my experience as a physiotherapist I have always been shocked when I hear clients report no benefit from Pilates and having long term aches and pains. That is until I assess them and find that they are not engaging their muscles appropriately, nor have they been taught even the basic principles of Pilates! I therefore feel it is hugely beneficial to carry out an initial assessment to ensure suitability and to go through these fundamental principles before starting a class. With my expert guidance, I can give you the knowledge and understanding to achieve your maximum potential. It is also why I keep my class sizes small to ensure my clients get the input they deserve.

 

Classes are run in 6 week blocks in order to get the most benefit as they are designed to be progressively more challenging. Each class is 50-60minutes in length and must be pre-booked.
