Post Natal Pilates

Whilst there are various challenges to exercise in the post-partum period, the benefits speak for themselves. Pilates can be a great exercise to strengthen your abdominals and pelvic floor, speed up post-partum recovery, increase fitness and reduce symptoms of post natal depression and anxiety.

With focus on the pelvic floor and abdominal support this class is a gentle reintroduction back to exercise in a safe and friendly environment where exercises can be tailored to your needs. I make this an inclusive and sociable session, suitable for those after their 6 week check and beyond. Babies are welcome to come along until crawling but if Mum wants some time to herself then that's great too!

Classes are run in a 6 week block, booked in advance and last for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
